We welcome volunteers with open arms. If you are interested in VOLUNTEERING in any capacity, we can certainly find a way for use you!

If you have a specific skill or would like to donate your services for any of our events, please don't hesitate to contact. It is a great way to promote your business and, at the same time, support your community.

Check the Step Up Calendar to find out when the next Orientation or Mandatory Training is.

Steps to Becoming a Mentor:

• Pray first!!!
• Our traditional mentoring opportunity requires a one year commitment to a foster youth, with a 2-hour per week contact (you set the time and date with mentee)
• Complete the online application
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Provide proof of CA Driver's License and proof of auto insurance
• Pass all criminal clearances, and drug testing
• Attend an orientation (Step Up or County of San Diego)
• Attend the Mandatory Training through the County of San Diego
